Heritage variety , bred in 1941 and still popular. Thin walled tapering fruit, 14-18cm long, in pale yellow. Ripening to a bright orange-yellow with a sweet flavour.
Peppers require a long growing season and should be started early at a temperature of 18 – 21°C (64-70°F) in order to guarantee germination. They like heat and humidity and are best grown under glass or even on a sunny window sill, although it is possible to grow them in a sheltered, sunny spot.
