Long, heavily blistered leaves of dark green. Very dwarf growing produces an abundance of curly leaves from the centre of each plant for winter picking. Flavour is similar to spring greens.
Baby leaf kale has a much more tender texture and milder sweet flavour than mature kale and makes a wonderful fresh salad.
Grow in containers or finely worked soil in sun. Sow every 3 weeks for a continuous supply.
Sow 1cm (½”) deep.
Thin to 2.5cm (1″).
