A intermediate variety. Deeply lobed leaves with a mottled red on green colour and savoyed texture. An interesting new introduction that is proving popular.
Sow into small containers and if given adequate light, can also be grown indoors during the winter.
Sow sparingly in shallow drills 6 to 12mm (¼ to ½”) deep.
Space seeds 2.5cm (1″) apart.
Mustard plants can be harvested once the leaves are 5cm (2″) tall. For milder leaves, pick young, they are best cropped at around 15cm (6″) for salads.
